Impact Stories

Pastor Training School has greatly shaped the pastor I am today. When I first started preaching, the Lord led me to this School. It is excellent for learning essential skills for ministry and connecting with others you will serve with.

The classes I attended were awesome and led by men who wanted to be there and help build bridges for us to grow both in relationships and our knowledge. They helped us to study more in depth and helped us to build our confidence while filling the pulpit. Each class has given us the tools, not to be just a preacher, but to be a truer student of Jesus Christ which we all should be striving to do. The Pastor Training School has helped us to not only be a truer student, but it also gave a support group in which we have come to a better understanding of what it means to have brothers in arms with you.

Starting out I did not know what to expect.  I knew God was calling me into ministry and at that point in my life, I was not able to go to seminary full time so I started attending classes with Pastor Training School.

The first class I took was Spiritual Formations.  I knew by the end of that class,  I was where God wanted me!  I began to develop friendships with other students who were at the same point in life that I was. They were men who were called by God and were being faithful and obedient to that next step. As I continued taking classes,  I not only gained the tools that would help me in ministry I also formed life long relationships with the instructors who became more than just a teacher.

I am grateful for every thing I learned and the relationships that were formed during my time and I know they will be used for years to come in service to God!

These classes have given me greater insight on how to study the word.  It’s also shown me how much time and work our pastors put into bringing us a 30 min sermon on Sunday morning and night. It’s made me appreciate mine and every other pastor out there even more for what they do for us. What I have enjoyed most is the strong bond I have built in the classes with my fellow brothers in Christ that will be by my side day or night.

When I started the Pastor Training School I didn’t really know where God was taking me but since then I have met so many great people.   The teachers were so helpful with everything and gave us the resources and encouragment we need to grow.  I truly loved going through these classes!
